Create Your Career - Press Release
In Partnership with GeneratorNI, the Music Business Support Programme
for Northern Ireland is coming to the Oh Yeah Centre on 15th November
2013 as part of Belfast Music week. There will be a series of mentoring
clinics running from 6pm to 7pm open to all musicians who can attend.
The clinics are free of charge and support by GeneratorNI who are funded
by the Department of Culture, Arts & Leisure along with InvestNI.
This is a unique opportunity to have a face to face mentoring session
with industry leaders and discuss your own career and how they might
help you gain a foothold or further your career within the music
industry. Clinics will be available in songwriting, publishing,
electronic music/DJ, and artist management. These sessions will be
quickly filled so it is best to book early to avoid disappointment.
In addition to the clinics ArmstrongNI's indie record label management team will be running an open Demo Surgery; a chance for artists of all genre's to pitch their music to the record label A&R team but also get advice on how to get signed and develop their fanbase. Again this is by booking only so its best to book a slot with the BMR team asap.
